Anne Strauss-Wieder

Anne Strauss-Wieder is a nationally respected senior executive with over 40 years of public and private sector experience involving supply chains, industrial and economic development, resilience, and freight movement. She was the 2022 recipient of the Transportation Research Board’s (TRB) Thomas B. Deen Distinguished Lectureship. Strauss-Wieder is in leadership roles in several national professional organizations. She was an appointed member of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s advisory committee on supply chain competitiveness and the U.S. Maritime Administration’s marine transportation system national advisory committee. She also teaches a graduate class on freight and public policy at Rutgers. Strauss-Wieder has a Master's in regional science from the University of Pennsylvania and was a 2010 Lead New Jersey Fellow.

Aquiles Suarez

Aquiles Suarez is the Senior Vice President for Government Affairs for NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, where he oversees the association’s advocacy efforts at the federal, state, and local level, and manages the association’s political action committee, NAIOP-PAC. Aquiles joined NAIOP in 2007 as the head of its government affairs office. Prior to joining NAIOP, he held a number of positions in the executive and legislative branches of government, serving on the White House Domestic Policy Council, senior counsel on the Financial Services Committee of the House of Representatives, and at the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Aquiles received his law degree from Columbia University Law School, and his undergraduate degree in government from Georgetown University.

Sal Visali

Sal Visali serves as director for GID Industrial's portfolio management team. He supports portfolio construction and operational decisions across GID Industrial's various investment vehicles. In April 2025, after the acquisition of ABCO Systems by Element Logic, Weisberg was named Chief Revenue Officer of Element Logic U.S., where he leads strategic revenue initiatives and drives growth across the American market.

He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers and continued to grow professionally. When his father became ill, Weisberg left PwC to help manage and transform the family business. Through rebranding, service expansion and operational improvements, he grew the company’s annual sales from $2 million to nearly $70 million.

Alongside managing the family business, he followed his entrepreneurial passion by launching a boutique yoga studio, which expanded into a chain before being sold to a competitor for more than 10 times his original investment.
